10‑Ball — Quick Rules
Overview
- Balls 1–10; call‑shot is standard. Lowest‑numbered ball must be contacted first.
- Only called shots count (kisses and combos must be designated if not obvious).
Rack & Break
- Triangle rack with the 1 on the spot and the 10 in the center.
- Legal break: contact the 1 first and meet pocket/rail count per event rules.
Shot Rules
- Called ball and pocket are required. If a different ball falls, it stays down but the inning ends unless also called (tournament variations).
- After a legal hit on the lowest ball, any called ball may be made (including the 10).
Fouls & End of Rack
- Standard foul list: no lowest‑ball contact, no rail, scratch/off table.
- Win by legally pocketing the 10 on a called shot.
