One‑Pocket — Quick Rules
Overview
- Each player is assigned a single corner pocket at the foot of the table.
- First to the agreed count (often 8 balls) wins.
Play
- Any ball may be used, but only balls legally pocketed into your assigned pocket count for you.
- Defensive moving and banking dominate; selling out an easy return is costly.
Fouls & Spots
- Standard fouls apply. Illegally pocketed balls are spotted to the foot spot area; some rules deduct a ball from the fouling player’s count.
